Thank you for your response. I will be on the lookout for the southern Kemps. I do know that another of my relatives Phillip Hundley 1658 in Va. married an Ann Kemp in Va. So I've got both sides of my family names in the South. Let me know what you find out about the Indians. My grandmother use to tell me we had married into an Indian tribe somewhere in the background.
