Have just added another link to the KFA homepage. Wayne has volunteered to be a resource for the Georgia Kemps. Thanks so much to Wayne H. Welch whose father, James H. Welch was able to publish his and my mother's genealogy research results before his death in 1995, entitled Welch/Kemp and Allied Families. Their book traces the decendants of Joseph Kemp 1765-1848 and his children; Benjamin, Charles, Lucy, Morgan, Reuben, and John. His place of birth is unknown, but he died in Marior County Georgia, near Columbus, GA. Indexed are over 500 names. The Kemp Klan Reunion was first organized by my father in 1955 and has met annualy without interuption. His mother was Annie Beatrice Kemp Welch.
