I have not yet detemined if there is a family connection to my Kemp line. I don't know much about my line. My grandmother Estella Mai Gray was a Kemp. She was born in Baltimore on May 17, 1890. Her father's name was William Thomas Kemp. Willaim was a sexton at the Baptist Church. Estella had an uncle J.W. Dawson. Estella's mother's name was Ida Sophia Spence. William Thomas Kemp's father's name was William Nehemiah Kemp. Willaim Thomas and Ida Spence had three children. William Kemp who died at age 4. Grace Kemp who died when she was about 27 years old.
