Hello all: I'm interested in tracking down ancestry of Sarah KEMP of Portsmouth, England who married Edmund SQUIRE on 8 Jan 1826 at St. Mary's Portsea. There are several Sarah KEMPs listed in the IGI, but of those born in Portsea, there appear to be four: chr. 16 Jun 1805 (parents: George & Sarah); chr. 26 Jul 1805 (parents James & Elizabeth); chr. 31 Oct 1806 (parents Robert & Hannah); and chr. 30 Sep 1808 (parents William & Jane). We know from the 1851 census that Sarah SQUIRE (married name) was 47 which would put her birthdate between 1 Apr 1803 and 31 Mar 1804 so she could not have been chr. before 1803 (which rules out a Sarah KEMP of Brading Hampshire) and her birthplace is shown as Portsea (which also rules out a Sarah KEMP of Selborne). Does anyone on the list have any connections to any of the Sarahs listed above or to another Sarah KEMP born 1803-4 in Portsea, Hampshire England?
