He emigrated to the United States and settled in Oxford, Sussex, New Jersey before 1760. He fought on the British side in the Revolutionary War and then fled to Canada around 1780 with his family. His wife's name is unknown but they had at least nine children some of whom changed the name to Camp. If anyone know his parents/wife name that would be appreciated.
