To answer your questions. The two deaths in 1809 were for the parents, Alexander Kemp & Jean Blackie - Jean died of Dropsy - these are transcriptions from the OPR entries. All the children appear to have survived but I don't know who brought them up or where they went to as, apart from my 2nd gr grandfather, William Kemp, the rest seemed to have disappeared as they are not on any of the Scotland censuses. What I am looking for is any info about the children - perhaps they emigrated somewhere. Also, I do not know who Alexander Kemp b c1764 parents were & would really like to find this bit of info. Thanks for trying but I've been at this for a couple of years so far & it is not a straight forward search - I live in hope.
