    3. Hello, Teresa Kemp, I would like to hear from you regarding your Dad, David Kemp. Where in Scotland did he come from when he went down to Australia? I have run the y-chromosome DNA test and have found a number of complete matches with men from Inverness and the region surrounding that city. Understand that there were Kemps living there up until the 1700s in the vicinity of Black Isle, but those famillies are now all gone. It seems the rising in 1740's helped eliminate them or encourage emigration. 3. I have a question on this string as well - any information about Kemp's from Australia and or New Zealand coming to Canada from there (or greater Pacific North West region) - mid 1800's? Looking for a Charles Kemp in particular, had a daughter Emma in 1869 in rural British Columbia, his wife was a Jeannie Munro - however suspect he married her once he arrived in the region. Also suspect he might have managed, owned or worked in hotel/saloon management. Many thanks, Elaine -----Original Message----- From: kemp-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:kemp-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Kemp, Charles, CTR, OSD-ATL NSSO Sent: Monday, November 30, 2009 1:20 PM To: kemp@rootsweb.com; gc-gateway@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [KEMP] Henry Gibson Kemp Hello, Teresa Kemp, I would like to hear from you regarding your Dad, David Kemp.
