Ella Kemp STARKE-Ella Ann (Place)Kemp, 63, of Starke died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at Shands Starke. A former resident of Texas, Mrs. Kemp had lived in Starke for the past five years. Born in Baliston Spa, N.Y., Mrs. Kemp was the daughter of Clinton E. and Lillian H. (Heffner) Place. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Gordon Kemp; five children, Clinton Kemp of N.Y., Eric Kemp of Minnesota, Wenonah Hoff and Tracy Kemp, both of Texas, and Lucinda Kemp of South Dakota; a sister, Kristy Gangi of Starke; 25 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services are private and under the care of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Awarness Association. Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are. This is here as a lasting memorial for Mrs. Kemp.
