You can get a copy of his military records thru the archives at: https://vetrecs.archives.gov/VeteranRequest/home.asp just answer the questions. They'll send you a form which you will have to sign & send back, to get the info you request. Or you can got to http://www.archives.gov/veterans/evetrecs/ and then click on "Launch eVetRecs--Request Military Records" & that will take you to the same place.
