He was the son of William Simpson and Anna Marie (Amelia) Kemp who were married in Montreal, Canada in 1851. Witnesses: George Kemp, John Simpson. William was b Scotland abt 1815, d 1875 in Montreal. Amelia was b abt 1829 in England, d 1878 Montreal. There were 14 years after William and Anna Marie were married for them to have other children before they had Henry. And maybe they had children after Henry was born. I'm looking for any of them and their progeny. Henry Gordon was orphaned at 13 and no doubt went to live with other family members (maybe Robert & Elizabeth Simpson, Upham, Kings, New Brunswick???) Also looking for information on William and Anna Marie prior to their marriage. Thanks! Paula
