I looked for Charles Kemp and family on Freecen for the 1841 and 1851 census, on the 1841 census Charles now aged 65, Labourer, living with wife Jane aged 66, Labourer, and daughters Mary aged 20, Lab`r and Anne aged 19, Lab`r along with 2 grandchildren, John Kemp aged 4 and David Kemp aged 3 months. Mary`s children? I can`t find a son or grandson who`s children they might be? On the 1851 census for Airth Charles Kemp aged 74 Pauper (Late Lab`r), wife Jean aged 74 Pauper and daughter Ann, (no grandchildren!) aged 24 Muslin Sewer, all living in Airth village. Charles Kemp died in Parish of Airth in 1860 aged 85 he was a widower, his parents were Charles Kemp and Agnes Perry. His daughter Agnes was the informant, she made her mark on the certificate, can`t make out her married name on the Death certificate! Kind regards, Colin.
