Hi My Kemp ancestors were from Perthshire prior to emigration to Australia. They arrived in Qld in 1865 & set up farming in Yangan near Warwick. This was my great grandfather, James Kemp b c1840 in Monzievaird, Perthshire. His father was William Kemp b 8/1/1798 in Edinburgh with father Alexander Kemp. If any of your Kemp ancestors were born in Yangan then they would be related to this lot. Also there were only a couple of Kemp families in Monzievaird, Perthshire so connections from there are possible also. >From Yangan most of the more recent Kemps from this lot settled in Brisbane.
