William Kemp b 1822 in Kentucky married 1847 In Henry Kentucky to a Mary J Huchison b 1832 in Kentucky Children: James S born 1847 Kentucky Anne E. born 1850 Kentucky Sophia A born 1854 Kentucky. John Kemp born 1832 in Kentucky married 11 Mar 1852 in Henry Kentucky to a Francis Hutchison b 1835 in Kentucky Children: Edmond G born 1853 Kentucky (Edward is listed in the History of Harrison County) Elisa A born 1855 Kentucky Robert Hutchison Born 1800 Ohio-- the father of the two Hutchison girls. His wife was Mary (Polly) Hendren and her father Taylor Hendren. This is all the people I know for sure were on train. There was also a King mentioned but I not found the link yet. There is some relationship between the two Kemp men maybe uncle and nephew but not sure. In searching the Henry County KY census for the year prior to leaving for Missouri in 1857 and prior to marriage of 1852 I find one John The census shows Gus Kemp age 22 Lucy Kemp age 18 Child Kemp Fanny McDonald age 66 born VA Catherine Kemp age 60 born VA Harriett Kemp age 30 Born VA James Kemp age 25 born KY John Kemp age 18 born KY Mary Kemp age 13 born KY This may be the family but then again maybe not. I do believe that the father of John Kemp was born in VA and then went to Kentucky or it could have been that when land boundaries changed he was in Kentucky as opposed to VA
