The only information that I have on Fanny Kemp is: b. about / probably around 1847 m. Andrew / Andy Carter sometime around the end of the Civil War Andrew (Andy) Carter was b. in Macon County in February 1847, and was the son of Harlan Carter and Joanna Davis. Census records show that Fanny and Andrew were living in Smith County Tennessee in 1870 and Warren County (Bowling Green) Kentucky in 1880. The only other information that I have re Frances / Fanny Kemp is that her name is listed as "J. F. Carter" on the grave marker of her oldest son. However, the listing grave marker is the only time that there is any reference to her first name beginning with a "J", as everyone else that has anything on her and the census records that I have located, always list her name as Fanny or Frances. Also, I have a picture of excellent quality of Andrew and Frances. Any help, advice or even a good guess would be greatly appreciated, Thanks ~ Judy
