Kemp, b. 22 Dec 1856, d. September 17, 1939 in Wickliffe, KY. He married on December 18, 1878, Nancy J. ADAMS, in Wickliffe, KY, born February 15, 1852. George was raised by Jim TANNER of KY and I believe the KEMP and succeeding FOWLER lines remained close friends/family to the TANNER family. It may have been KEMP family that owned slaves in KY or could have been the family name of Louise Kemp's maternal grandparents
