I have been subscribed to this Kemp e-mail for over a year and still I never see my ancestor Reuben Kemp of NJ to KY (1740-1807) posted in the KFA website. Did I miss something somewhere? Please guide me there and your help will be appreciated. I have had a few Kemps contact me through the forum. I am hesistant to join Kemp Family Association if my Reuben Kemp isn't listed in the KFA website. Thank you, Mark
Dear Listers, iI am somewhat interested in joining the Kemp Family Association, but haven't heard or seen anything about my KEMP on this list so far. The only KEMP I have is Ann KEMP, b. 1660, VA, m. Philip HUNDLEY, Jr. Does anyone know if this line is represented in the Kemp Family Association. I went to the site, but didn't find anyone from VA. Thanks, Betty Sullivan
Mark, I think that I am descended from Reuben Kemp (and Jenny/Jane Stewart) via their daughter, Jemima. I do have an ancestor, Jemima Kemp, who census records say was born in NJ in about 1785. However, I can't prove that there isn't some other Jemima (or Jermina) Kemp of NJ at the same time). Do you have any information that would help me?
