HOUSE, born 1843, Brantford, Norfolk, Ontario, CANADA may have married a KEMP in Pennsylvania. She had 4 children, Tressa, Elizabeth, Lija, and Nettie. She was widowed, then married to Theodore SHARP, born c. 1837-41, Brantford,Norfolk, Ontario, CANADA. (They had 4 more children before he eventually died from wounds in the US Civil War ; then she was widowed again.) Ocfa has identified burials of the following (bolded) persons, who may be her children: "HOUSE","Teresa","Marymount, Section D","Wellington","Guelph","WW-326","H200", "HOUSE","Elizabeth","Glenmeyer Baptist","Norfolk","Walsingham North","NR-95-98","H200", and "HOUSE","Nettie","Courtland Fellowship Baptist","Norfolk","Middleton","NR-88-27","H200". Next, lookups are required for all the above persons to determine lifetimes and possible relationships. Apologies for the false start, but I have been looking for Hannah E. HOUSE for about 7 weeks. Just finding something seemed worthwhile sharing with the lists. I am currently seeking U.S.Civil War records from the National Archives of the USA for Theodore SHARP. The turn around time should take about 3 months, or by November 2000! I suspect there may be a Palatine connection between the HOUSE/SHARP families via Pennsylvania. Their families may have been part of the Palatine emigration, so beautifully discussed in The Trail of the Black Walnut. One of the terminal places of that migration was Brantford, Norfolk, Ontario, CANADA. I have some photographs of a visit of the SHARPs to Pennsylvania in the early 1900s, but I am still looking for them since my move from Pennsylvania. As I recall they are marked, so it might turn up something. Again, any further information about her family, especially the KEMP Family of Pennsylvania, would be greatly appreciated.
