Fellow Kemp and Wyoming County, New York researchers, I have traced my family back five generations on my father's side to Elijah Kemp in Wyoming County, New York. That is where the trail goes cold. I do not believe Elijah Kemp was born in Wyoming County, but am not sure how he ended up there. Any help or leads that any one could provide would be much appreciated.
