Do you have any information on where John Kemp and Nancy Wallis are buried, and for that matter, their son, John (Jr?) b.1771 in Iredell County, NC m. Nancy Bicknell b.18 Feb 1778 in Morgan County, IN and d.19 Sept 1851 in Morgan County, IN d.1840 John Kemp, (Jr?). d.1840 in Morgan County, IN. It was quite a surprise for me and my husband to find out that both our ancestors were living in Iredell County, NC at the same time. (He was from the Chicago area and I was living in NC when we met.) We will be going to NC sometime this summer and would like to know anything we could about the family and perhaps find where they are buried. We have children who are interested in genealogy, so want to leave them with as much accurate information as possible about their ancestors.
