If this is so, then John would have to be born c1720. The John Kemp who married Mary Polly Craighead was born more likely 1735-40. He probably married Mary about 1760. Notice that I am hesitant about my info because I have no true documentation. Do you have any documentation at all for the connection of John Kemp to Camp/Marshall? Or is it a guess-by-golly and/or copied from someone else? I have tried over and over again to document this connection and no one can provide the research. If you do not have the documentation, then a YDNA test is about the only way you will have to prove a connection to the Camp line.
