Kemp was born in 1817. She died on 15 Mar 1839 in Cork. Catherine (Flaherty) Kemp married Richard Ashe in 1819 and had at least one child, Richard Ashe, in about 1821. He married Alice Agnes Orpen in 1842 and had children: Francis, b.1846; Frances Sophia, b.1847, d.Dec 1847; Fanny Ada b.1849; Alfred Edwin, b.1850, d.1852.
