By the time of the 1900 census, William was married to Ella J. and their children were William M. and Henry D. The family lived in Gregg, Aiken, SC. In 1910 the family lived in Shaws, Aiken, SC. The family continued to grow with the addition of Emma, Wallis, Hazel and Louden. In 1920 the family continued to live in Shaws, Aiken, SC. By 1930 the family had migrated to North Hempstead, Nassau, New York.
