On the Land Grant maps of Boularderie there are three plots granted to (going from west to east) Murdoch, Duncan and Alexander Kemp. The next plot to the east was held by a Donald Fraser. The Kemp brothers were all born in the parish of Gairloch in Wester Ross, Scotland where their ancestors had been for at least 200 years. Hope this helps Liz Forrest
