Seemingly married Mary or May Miller 18 Dec 1862 in Trenton, Grundy Co, MO. Family notes say Hiram went "West" and just disappeared. Hiram was the son of John (C.) Kemp born c1797 in most likely VA. John Kemp married Olive Comstock 19 Nov 1840 in Daviess Co, MO. Nothing much is know of John Kemp before his marriage to Olive. Hiram seemingly was the first born to the couple. John Kemp died between 1855-1860. Some clues point to Hiram Kemp being in/around Unionville, Putnam Co, MO, during Civil War. But that Hiram Kemp may not be the correct Hiram Kemp. Just checking to see if any descendant is also checking. Cheryl
