I think that when Frederick was adopted in 1909 in Ottawa he was taken back to Hastings County. Do these names ring any bells for anyone? I am anxious to find any living descendents of this man. I am researching Capt. Jonathan Kemp who was living with Col Osborne & his family in western NC during the Amer. Rev.? I have a Coramandel, born to a Lovinia Methvin Kemp & (I believe)an Isaac Kemp in 1829. She married a Charles Pipes. They had many children. One of them was David Phillips Pipes. He married a Luella McCalla & then a Samantha Rebecca Crawford. One of SR & DP's children was my GGrandfather. I have very little info beyond Coramandel. She died abt 1894.
