Elizabeth Kern) b. 3-17-50 d. 8-7-1820 Jacob b. 10-1-1776 d. 11-24-1799 ************ "Records of Reformed and Lutheran Congregation of Dryland Church, Hecktown, PA" (The church is on state route 191 and is now Trinity Lutheran; the cornerstone is 1849. The cemetery behind the church is very old and the oldest stones are gone.) There is a monument in front of the church "Dedicated to those of Dryland Graveyard who served their Country in the Armed Forces of the Unites States of America" On it appears: 1750 - Kemmerer, Johannes -1820 1789 - Kemmerer John N -1870 Behind the church is a marker between two huge plaques. Marker says "To the memory of those buried on Dryland Graveyard. These men, women and children lived not only for the cause of America but all mankind" On the plaques appears the following names of Kerns and Kemmerers.
