In Snyder County Pioneers by Dr. Fisher, there is a reference to a Peter KEMERER who was assessed for taxes in Warwick Twp., Lancaster Co., PA between 1772-1782. He moved to Penn Twp, Snyder County in 1785. He was probably a relative of John KELLEY, a carpenter in Penn Twp in 1799, possibly earlier living in Northampton Co.
