When I was born a good friend of his (who was also the Justice of the Peace that married my parents) was trying to do something for which he needed my fathers Birth certificate. After looking through the records, he came to my father with 5 legal documents, all with different birth years. My brother has my father listed as two years older than I do on our BC. I know one reason he faked one was to get a job when he was 14, but he never really explained the rest. Makes looking for records really interesting!
