Greetings, I am new to the list and wanted to post my information: My 3rd great grandfather was Martin Kelly (or Kelley). All I know is this. He was born around 1818 probably somewhere in County Galway. He settled in Maine around 1845. He was married Mary Nee in 1848 in Portland, ME and had the following children: Michael, Bryan, Martin, Margaret, Festus, Dennis, Anna, Mary Ann, Thomas, and Stephen. In 1867 the family moved to Lewiston, ME. Martin died in 1888. No records indicate his place of birth or origin. In 1864 he there was a Patrick Kelly living at the same address in Portland. I have not been able to find a naturalization record, or will for him. The death record does not indicate any place of birth. There is no obituary and I haven't yet been able to find a passenger list. Kathy Amoroso Portland, ME
