    3. Hello Kellys/Kelleys, I'm new to the lists and hope someone out there may be able to help me fill in some gaps. James and Bridgit were my great-grandparents. JAMES J. KELLY was the son of WILLIAM KELLY and NORRY HALLISSY, and he was born in INCHIGEELAGH PARRISH, COUNTY CORK (no exact DOB known, but he was christened on 19th January 1845). James died in NYC, in the month of August (around mid-month, I believe), but I do not know the exact date nor year. The most likely "James Kelly" listed in the NYC Vital Records Index shows a James Kelly, age 59 yrs, who died on 14th August 1903. This could be him, if he was born in, say, December of 1844 but not christened until the next month. I have not discovered where he is buried. BRIDGIT MARY MONAHAN was born in DUBLIN in 1846 (no DOB known) and died in late January 1905 in Jersey City, NJ. I know nothing of her family nor do I have any other information on her. Family lore has it that she died on 31st January, which was her son's birthday. She is buried in Calvary Cemetary in Woodside, NY. Their only child, WILLIAM HENRY KELLY, was my grandfather. He was born on the 31st January 1881, and died on the 5th February 1961. James and Bridgit owned KELLY PRODUCE on AMSTERDAM AVENUE in NYC in the years just preceeding their deaths. Residences included 239 W. 37th St., 543 W. 43rd St., and 139 W. 128th St. Specifially, I am searching for any brothers and sisters of James or any family of Bridgit. I leave next Friday (5th March) for Ireland to follow up on some additional leads on James in County Cork. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! Patrick Kelly giardap@worldnet.att.net
