Can I request a copy of a birth certificates of deceased relatives? Because I am no longer in touch with my fathers side of the family, I have really reached a brick wall. I had the idea to request his birth certificate, then track down his parents BC. Also has anyone had any luck doing the same thing with Baptismal Certificates.
