Hello Listers: I am searching for the descendants of Thomas KELLY and his wife, Hannah (BROWN) KELLY. They are found on the 1861; 1871; & 1871 Leebee Census of Oxford-on-Rideau Township {Also called Oxford Township for short}; Grenville County; Ontario; Canada. Thomas KELLY was born about 1808, 1810, or 1811 according to this Census. His wife, Hannah (BROWN) KELLY was born about 1814, 1815, or 1818, according to this same Census. For some reason their ages vary from each of the three Censuses, as do their children's ages. Following is the Kelly family which consists of approximately fifteen children born from about 1841 to 1866 in Upper Canada and Ontario, Canada {A twenty-five year span of time}: (1)Thomas KELLY; b. abt. 1808;1810; or 1811. According to the 1871 Census of Ontario, his birthplace was in Ireland. At that time, his age was 61 years of age and his religion was Church of England, Anglican. His occupation was listed as a Labourer. The 1871 Census has Thomas KELLY residing in Leeds & Grenville North District (070} & in the Sub-District of Oxford (E). (2)Hannah (BROWN) KELLY; b. abt. 1814; 1815; or 1818 in Upper Canada or Quebec. Their Children were as follows: 1. James KELLY; b. 09,Sep,1838 in Burritts Rapids, Grenville Co., Upper Ca. 2. Neome KELLY; b. abt. 1847 in Upper Canada. 7. Kezeth KELLY; b. abt. 1848 in Upper Canada. 8. Maria or Mariah KELLY; b. abt. 1851 or 1852 in Upper Canada. 9. Safia or Sofia KELLY; b. abt. 1851 in Upper Canada. 10. Jemimi or Jamima KELLY; b. abt. 1853 or 1855 in Upper Canada. 11. Jerusa; Jariusa; or Jerusha KELLY; b. abt. 1855 or 1856 in Upper Canada. 12. Martha KELLY; b. abt. 1857 in Upper Canada. 13. William KELLY; b. abt. 1859 in Upper Canada. 14. Thomas KELLY; b. abt. 1859 or 1861 in Upper Canada. 15. Albert KELLY; b. abt. 1863 or 1866 in Ontario, Canada. *Maria KELLY of KEMPTVILLE Ontario @ AGE 21 married John ROSE on 22, Mar., 1875. Ias ROSE of MERRICKVILLE Ontario & Thomas KELLY of Oxford Ontario were witnesses. *Martha KELLY {Born in Wolford Township} of KEMPTVILLE Ontario @ AGE 20 married Edmund FULCHER. Witnesses were William BROWN & Maria KELLY. *Jerusha KELLY {Born in Burritts Rapids} of MERRICKVILLE Ontario @ AGE 20 married James Albert ROSE. Witnesses were William & Catherine ROSE.
