He was married to Barbara Phillips and they had four children. (Joel was killed in a wagon accident when his children were young.) 1. George Washington Kelly b. c 1838 m. Sarah Butler, served in the Civil War, and moved to Kosse, Limestone County, Texas, in 1881. Stayed in Rome Georgia for several years on his way to Texas. They had 9 children. Stiles Plummer Levi Butler Amelia Louise George Tilden Will Luther Mollie L. Ella Jane Sally Dora Belle Zara 2. Marianne Kelly, b 1839, may have married a Brighton and/or Hull and stayed in SC. 3. Levi Waddell Kelly m. Sara Millerman. He served in the Civil War and then moved to Limestone or Falls County, Texas. They had 12 children. Dean Charlie Clay Oscar Gillespie May Isaiah Claude Molly George E. Jessie Pickens Thomas Saxon Essie Clyde Kelly Roscoe C. John Stanford 4. Reuben Kelly b. 1843, may have stayed in SC.
