Hi, I have a John Kelly who married Mindwell Loomis on June 8, 1766 in Wintonbury, Bloomfield, Hartford, Connecticut. He was born around 1745 near Cork, Ireland apparently. He had a son Roger Kelly who was born in 1775 in CT and the family later moved to E. Granville, Hampshire, MA. I am wondering if this is the same Roger Kelley (spelled with an"e") who was born on Sept. 29, 1775 and was living in Maryland, Otsego Co., NY by 1796. He married Rhoda Wright in 1796 in Otsego Co. NY. It is said that Roger Kelley came to Otsego Co., NY from Sharon, New York and that he was born in Massacusetts. Ellen Baker
