Hi Listers, I am in search of my great-grandfathers brothers Felix and Charles KELLY. Felix McManus KELLY who was born in Texas abt. 1874. I think he may have been born in Hockley, Harris, TX or Fayette County, TX but, not sure. THis is only conjecture on my part based upon past research. Felix is listed in his fathers obituary in November of 1922 as living in Los Angeles, California. In his sisters obituary of July 1944 he is still listed as living in California. Based upon the 1920 Los Angeles County, CA Census he is married to a woman with the first name of Jennie. She was born in Louisiana in 1878. One child, Gladys M. KELLY was still living at home. Gladys was born in 1904 and the census states Texas as state of birth. Felix is not listed in my great-grandfathers obituary of 1953 as are his living siblings. I can only guess he had passed away between 1944 and 1952 somewhere in California. I assume Los Angeles. Charles William KELLY was born in Texas abt. 1876. I also guesstimate he was born either in Hockley, Harris, TX or Fayette County, TX where his parents and other siblings were known to live. Charles is also listed in his fathers obit as well as his sisters. Based upon the 1920 Los Angeles County, CA Census he is married to a woman with the name of Lillie Belle. No children at home at this time. Lillie Belle was born abt. 1979 and Texas is state of birth. He also isn't listed in his brothers obit of 1952. I know how hard the KELLY surname is to trace. I have been working on these brothers and sisters for a very long time. Luckily over the last two months I have located some info on the family. I am willing to share what I know.
