I'm looking for information on my great-grandmother, or her family. Mary KELLY (also seen as KELLEY), born in Ireland probably before 1850. Married Thomas KERNAN and lived in Syracuse, NY. Had 5 children: Mary, Margaret, Genevieve, Nellia (or Ellen or Helen), and John Any info. Appreciated. Dick Lester rlester500@aol.com
William Washington Kelly was born 1830 in Jackson Co., GA. He was the son of Thomas Kelly and Agnes Carmichael Kelly. Other children of Thomas and Agnes (besides Wm. Wash.) were John (b. 1825); Marjory (b. 1828); Nancy Catherine (b.?); and Mary Lucinda (b. 1843). William Washington married Mary "Polly" Chamblee in Blount Co., AL on Jan. 23, 1866. They had two children: William Rosea (b. 1867) and Washington Truman (b. 1869), both born in Blount Co., AL. County records indicate William Washington died "in Arkansas" about 1870. I would like to know where and exactly when he died. Any other data on this line would be appreciated...especially the parents of Thomas Kelly and Agnes Carmichael, dates and place of death. Thanks, Luther Kelly

Haven't posted in a VERY long time..... I have to sets of Kelly's. The first are my grndmthrs niece and nephew that were adpted when thier mother remarried. Thier father died from Hodgekins when they were still pretty little. Thier names are Jerry (Montgomery) Kelly & Teresa (Montgomery) Kelly. They would have been b. abt. 1945/50. prnts names were Marshall George & Verjean(Bisnet?) Montgomery. They lived mostly in Flint, MI. Marshall was in the Army and I have Lots of his pictures from that time. Don't have much afer Verjean m. Mr. Kelly except that they had a dau. I think named Shondra. The other family is through my ggg grndmthr Charlotte (Kelly) Angus b. 1945 d. 1929 m. 1961 Charles Angus(his family was originally in N.Y. that I have info on.) They lved on a farm in Caledonia, MI. I also have a possible bro. to Charlotte..... George Henry Kelly m. Carrie Kellogg....they had children Mable, Nettie, Walter. Any MI Kelly's out there? Kim Hochstetler
Hi, Am I 4? My poor Kelly is so impossible I don't post her very often... But if anyone can link to A Mary (Polly) Kelly married by 1821 to a William E Lindsey... She may have had a brother James Kelly who married Rebecca Elizabeth Lindsey... Mary and William had a son named Carroll who was born in 1821 in TN so Mary Kelly may have been from there... Pitiful, eh? Good luck all, Cyndi in Baltimore
I am looking for information (birth, death, etc.) on my grandfather, Terry W. Kelly. He married my grandmother, Mary Fiskin Kelly, in Indianapolis in 1892. They had three sons, Hugh William Kelly, Francis Terrance Kelly and James Gordon Kelly. The last record I have on him is the record of the youngest son's birth (James Gordon) in Cincinnati, OH in 1901. Any help with this would be greatly appreciates. R. K.
Looking for researcher Tim Kelly who posted a query on the Ramsey Co. MN page on March 26th, or any other researcher working on this KELLY family. Some of what I believe about our family comes from census records (1880 NE), some from obituaries and county histories etc. It is probably not 100% accurate, but as close as I have gotten so far. I believe our William Daniel was called Daniel, though perhaps those were references to a brother instead, in which case cousins could be listed as siblings here. He may have had brothers Daniel and Patrick also in the St. Paul area. We first find them in Illinois in 1853, then in St. Paul by 1857 until 1861 or 62. If these look like your folks, I look forward to hearing from you. Jo Newkirk-Hornecker Descendants of William Daniel Kelly, Sr. 1 William Daniel Kelly, Sr. b: ca. 1835 in Ireland. +Mary Casey b: Unknown in Ireland ........ 2 Mary Kelly b: 1853 in Illinois ........ 2 Michael C. Kelly b: 04 June 1855 in Elgin, Kane Co., IL ........ 2 William Kelly b: 04 June 1855 in Elgin, Kane Co., IL ........ 2 Daniel Kelly b: 03 May 1857 in St. Paul, Ramsey Co., MN ........ 2 Maggie Kelly b. ca. 1860 in St. Paul, MN ........ 2 Willie Kelly b. ca. 1861 in St. Paul, MN ........ 2 John Kelly b. Ca. 1862 in Nebraska ........ 2 Thomas Kelly b. ca. 1867 in Iowa ........ 2 Nellie Kelly b. ca. 1869 in Iowa William Sr. (Daniel) was a wagon driver on the trail between Omaha and Denver in the 1870's and 1880's, so he might have been a teamster when they were in St. Paul also. They appear to have been in St. Paul from about 1856 until 1861 or 62. The family were devout Catholic, I believe those who were born in MN were baptized there.
Seeking info on Clarnece M. Kelly born Nov 26, 1883 in Portland, Sumner Co KS to Josiah Kelly and Surrelda Harris. He married Olive Hunt and died in 1969 in NM. Any help appreciated. *V Shaw

I have noticed that there is not much traffic on this list. Is there anybody out there? I have been on the list for over a month and almost forgot that I subscribed to it because I have only had about three mailings from the Kelly list (in over a month) as opposed to other lists that I recieve 20 to 30 or more messages a day!
