Avie, I found your name interesting. I had an "Avey/Avy Kell(e)y" in my ancestry, from the early 1800's here in Georgia. Is yours a nickname or were you named after someone in the family? My Avey Kelly was daughter to James Kelly and Emaline/Emily Watkins who were in Lumpkin County, GA in 1850. Avey eventually married George Wehunt and they are buried in Cherokee County, GA with Emily Watkins-Kelley (her mother) with them.
