I read with interest this portion of your note to Pegi. In what county were you and this Lester Kelly playing golf (or lived?) while you knew him? My grandfather, Carl Kell(e)y had a brother named Lester. I think they lived in the Cobb County, GA area or a surrounding county. I wonder if it is possible that the Lester Kelly you caddied for was my grand-uncle? Do you know if Lester was married and if so if her name was Christine? Did the Lester have any children?
