    1. Seaborn Kelly
    2. K Anderson
    3. Seaborn Kelly Lowndes County, & Crenshaw County son of Tyre Kelly, What is in the Spelling of a name? Tyre Kelly was probably illiterate. Seaborn was literate and signed his name Kelly on Tyre's estate petition. Some of the census records do spell his name Kelley. Some census taker spelled Seaborn name as Seabourn, Sebron and Seborne... According to Ancestry.com, 92.5% of the Kelly/Kelleys spell it Kelly, which means that Kelleys are pretty rare. Many still fuss about which is correct. I think our Kelly dna project will indicate that there's no real difference. We most all go back to Kell, Ireland.

    3. I have never checked phone directories and found more than 10-15 % more Kelly. In solid catholic areas maybe twice as many Kelly. Must every subject be romanized?
