    1. will of Mary Kelly, dtd 1834, wife of John Kelly
    2. Johannes/John Khele/Kollen/Kolle/Kelly, of Charleston South Carolina is believed to be the son of John Jacob Kelly who migrated to Charelston South Carolina ca 1752 aboard the ship "John and Mary". All the children of John Jacob settled in the Lexington District, with the exception of the son John Kelly. John Kelly was born 8 Nov 1746, Blaubeuren Germany, and died 19 Oct 1791, Charleston, SC. HIs birth is documented in Church records, and his death date is taken from the records of the "German Friendly Society". John Kelly married 1st, Maria Elisabeth Rittheimer, married 2nd, 23 Jan 1774, Anna Maria Werner. His marriages are recorded in the records of St. John's Lutheran Church, Charleston, SC. No will or estate settlement of John Kelly has been found, but his wife Mary Kelly did leave a will. Mary Kelly also applied for a widow's Rev war pension. Will of Mary Kelly, dtd 1834, with codicil dtd 1838, proved 10 Feb 1840, Charleston, SC list the following children and grandchildren: Daughter, Mary D. Martin, living Daughter, Ann D. Keckeley, living Son, John A. Keckeley Codicil undtd, proved 10 Feb 1840, discharged the debt of her only living child, Mary D. Martin, wife of John Nicholas Martin. I am interested in the son, George Kelly who died in Lexington District. He is believed to be the George Kelly who was born, 4 Oct 1782, Charleston (Records of St. John's Lutheran Church), died ca 1821, (Journal of the Rev. Godfrey Drehr 1819-1851, page 168 Monday 13th) Name of George's children taken from will of their grandmother: 1. John, believed to be John Kelly who married 1832 Catherine Jackson 2. Edward Kelly 3. Nancy Kelly, believed to be Nancy Kelly who married William L. Jackson 4. Thomas Kelly 5. George Kelly 6. Jacob Kelly, born 6 April 1816, married Harriet Lybrand, moved to Coosa Co., Alabama 7. Adeline Kelly, died January 1839, (Journal of the Rev. Godfrey Dreher 1819-1851) I am trying to reconstruct the above family of George and Mary Kelly. Does anyone have any info on Edward, Thomas or George? I can not place them in any census beyond the 1830 census, when they were living with their mother in Lexington. Thanks Ann Kelly Corum, descendant of Jacob Kelly of Coosa County, Alabama
