This information may not help you but I have a Zachariah S. Kelley in my tree. He was the son of James Kelley (my gggg grandfather, born 1786 in Virginia, died Abt. 1860 in Oconee Co., SC, and married Salley Sullins on 02 Jul 1807 in Rutherford Co., NC). Zachariah S. Kelley was their 1st child and named after Salley's father. He was born Abt. 1808, died Abt 1864 in Rutherford Co., N.C. His siblings were: Malinda B. Kelley, born 27 Jan 1813 in NC, died 28 Dec 1895 in Oconee Co., SC Alfred Burton Kelley born Abt 1816 William Bryson Kelley born 20 Dec 1818 Mary Yowell Kelley born Abt 1820 JOSEPH HOWARD KELLEY (ggg grandfather) born 03 Jun 1822 in Walhalla, Oconee Co., SC, died 20 Jun 1902 in Walhalla, married Abt. 1843 to Elizabeth Hunnicutt, in Walhalla Surry Kelley born Abt. 1824 Hiram Kelley born Abt 1825 Andrew Kelley born Abt 1826 Patrick Kelley born Abt. 1827 James Kelley born Abt. 1829, died 16 Dec 1864, married Catherine Sharp M. Beauregard Kelley born Abt 1831 I know these dates are not around the 1760 but James Kelley's father would have been in that period. He came from Ireland and married a Pennsylvania Dutch but I have not been able to find when, where or how he came over. I can find no record (yet) of when they left Virginia for NC. I have records of James, Joseph, and Beauregard in the Civil War. Also, a coincidence, my father's name was Robert Kelley. I hope this might help you in your research.
