Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CYm.2ACIB/3094 Message Board Post: I'm new to the list and am looking for ancestors of John James Kelley (b. 1845) who was married to Laura Craven (c. 1860) in 1878 in Decatur County, Georgia. I read a message from Kathy Rogers that was posted in 2000 who identified J.J. as the son of a Cary Kelly and brother of Archibald. I am a descendant of John James and would like to know more about Cary and his ancestors and descendants. I tried to e-mail Ms. Rogers privately but to no avail. I researched this branch of my family tree in the mid 1990s and hit a wall. I'm now trying again and am encouraged by the info in Ms. Rogers' message. Is there anyone else out there who knows something about this branch? Thanks, Lynn ______________________________ X-Message: #4 Date: Wed, 4 May 2005 14:07:24 EDT From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Message-ID: <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [KELLEY] Kelley/Kelly in southwest GA Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Hi: My name is Frank Kelly from Knoxville,Tn. It will give the rest of us some HOPE! :D > > > Hi Frank Kelley, My name is Angela Irvin and I am trying to trace my family my gg grandpa was from TN. his name was Levi Kelley the first place I can trace him back to is AR that's in the late 1800. I don't know what his parents name was so that has got me stumped. There was a small family tree done back in the 60's it's at my grandparents house but it's hard to read I have wrote some of the names down but can't figure out who is who and my grandma passed away almost 2 years ago and she was from the Kelley line and the only person that could give me the info I need. I do know that her 2nd or 3rd cousin/uncle was the Kelley that wrote the Kelley Blue Book when he passed on she recvd an inheritance from him. Well, thank you for your time if you could help me it would be wonderful. Thanks, Angela
