I am trying to get past my brick wall, my great-grandfather Joseph Kelley. According to his obit he was born in Tipperarry Ireland on August 13, 1855, parents unknown. The family came to the US when he was three, settling in Philadelphia. He left home at seventeen and headed west where he worked for the railroad. In 1881 he married a widow by the name of Barbara Riggs (Legler) in Hastings Nebraska. They had two daughters and six sons, including by maternal grandfather, Robert Emmett Kelley. Joseph died twelve days after he and Barbara moved to Ogallala Nebraska in April 1914. Rick
