Kelley and his wife Sarah A. Waite Kelley, who lived in Bay City, Michigan, for many years. William Kelley was born in King's County, Ireland, on 28 February, 1831, and died in Bay City, Michigan, on 9 August, 1910. Sarah was born in London, England, on 29 April, 1854, and died in Bay City, Michigan on 7 April, 1940. William came to America ca. 1850 and first settled in Buffalo, New York. He worked on many ships sailing the Great Lakes for a number of years, later becoming a Bay County (MI) official. Sarah moved with her family from England to America in 1857, when she was only three. Her family also settled in Buffalo. Children of William and Sarah were Genevieve, William M., Georgiana, and Arthur. I have information on the Waite family that I would be willing to share with anyone who would like more knowledge of Sarah's family. Sarah was a sister of my great-grandfather, Richard A. Waite. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has further information about William or Sarah.
