I've "rescued" an old photograph of Alfred BURT which was taken at the Stevens Studio in Richmond, Michigan. The photograph was probably taken in the 1880's with Alfred probably in his teens at the time. Based on limited research I believe that this may be a photograph of Alfred BURT b. Richmond, MI to parents Louis BURT and Maria MARTIN. The family was living in Richmond during the 1880 census. The family was recorded as follows: Lewis BURT age 52 b. NY Farmer Parents b. England Maria BURT age 49 b. Eng Housewife Parents b. England Albert L. BURT age 17 b. MI Farm Laborer F. Vernon BURT age 15 b. MI Farm Laborer Henry E. BURT age 13 b. MI Attending School Alfred M. BURT age 7 b. MI I believe that Alfred later married Amy KELLEY on the 14th of June 1905 in Port Huron, MI. I'm hoping to locate someone from this BURT Family so that the photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family.
