Albert Thivener was born 5 Jun 1903, at Northup Twp. Gallia Co. Ohio and died 23 Apr 1985 in Gallia Co. Ohio. He was the son of Richard Ernest Thivener and Viola "Ola" Belle Mahan. Albert married twice: first to my Grandma's mother, Emma Meadows on 10 Aug. 1929. Emma was born 7 Oct. 1908, in Glennwood, WV and died 3 Feb. 1935 in Northup Twp. Gallia Co. Ohio. She was the daughter of Willie and Ada Meadows. Emma had three sisters: Alma Marie (Meadows) Burton, Cora (Meadows) White, and Mae Fern (Meadows) Thivener; and four brothers: Ace Meadows, Henry Meadows, Archie Meadows, and Kenneth Meadows. After the death of his wife and baby, Juanita Jean Thivener. A few years later, Albert re-married to Josie Saunders.
