He was even said to have been orphaned and raised by an uncle or a neighbor. I have heard he was born in England on census says Ireland, one says Germany and a few say England, and another says Missouri. All I know is that he married Mary Francis Delaney of Missouri and they lived there married lives in Georgetown (Williamson County), Texas. Any possible connections?
