Bear with me because it's rather complicated, but I think you probably have the greatest wealth of material on the Kelleys, so I thought you might be able to help me figure this out. In tracing Henry's wife (Molly) after Henry's death, I came upon two new Kelley children - J.T. and Gladys (b. 1915 and 1917)that I don't think are theirs. I first see them with Ella McKinzie - a widow in the 1920 Pike County census (I'm thinking this could possibly be Alice Kelley - age matches fairly well- who may have married Henry McKenzie. But although census states these are son and daughter of Ella - Ella was already married to McKenzie in 1910 - so surnames don't match. Anyway, in 1930 census, J.T. and Gladys show up with Molly and her second husband - William Carlisle- and the census states that they are step children of William. Well, of course, surname fits with Henry - first husband- but not birth dates as Molly and William married in 1908. Do you know of any of Henry's siblings these children may belong to? I wonder if they could be Martha (Patsy's) children? I believe both Alice and Martha were living with Henry and Molly back in 1900 - so they did have c! lose ties.?? Just a theory ... Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks, Deborah Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
