I found a very distant of my late husbands in Australia who had been adopted and knew nothing about this side of the family. You are on the mission I have been on a long time trying to find our line of Kelley's. Good luck. Will be looking forward to what you find. Have you ever checked the National Archives. You would be surprised what information is there. I found out about my ggrandfather who was 1/2 Indian and in the Union Army. Good Luck.
