Hi, my Grandfather was William Allen Kelley, born in Canada, grew up in Afton, Union County, Iowa. He was born in 1876. No record of him 1920 on... cannot find any more, anyway. No death record found yet. My father never spoke about him other than to say that he drove a buckboard (deliveries, I believe, as Grandpa's father had some sort of store) and my Dad went with him sometimes. He and my Grandmother divorced when my Dad was a kid and she died when I was about 8 yrs old so no info there. He worked in the shipyards at the time of WW1 and a kind lister sent me a copy of his draft registration. His parents were Robert B. & Priscilla Kelley. My Dad was the only child with Grandma, her name was Bessie Aley Ownby, from Decatur City, Decatur County, Iowa. I've looked and looked. He's the biggest brick wall I have....seems I have lots of info on him but then he disappears. Love this list! Thanks, Barbara
